INSPIRATION:
Inspired by fall in the heartland, a warmly glowing moon rises over newly crisp, autumn fields. Layers of texture, color and pattern invite you to remember fall leaves, pumpkin pie and your favorite sweater. This artwork started as an acrylic painting, transitioning into a playful menagerie of paper collage. Then layers of oil paint and cold wax created rich, luscious colors with an ethereal feel. With a dash of glitter and bit of gold, (metal foil and paint), the painting was complete.
