An original painting by Alena Freeman.

Ascension was inspired by, and is dedicated to my brother, Matthew Garrett Orr, who ascended to a higher plane of being, on February 14, 2022. He is deeply loved and greatly missed.


SIZE: 12” wide x 12” high x 2 ¼” deep

SUBSTRATE: sealed and gessoed plywood panel

MEDIUM: mixed (see details below)

MOUNTED: Yes, on handmade cradleboard panel. The depth of the painting is 2 ¼”.

FRAMED: No. PLEASE NOTE: This item comes unframed. A hanging wire is mounted on the back and the painting is display-ready. A signed and dated label including the painting title and a brief description has been placed on the back of the artwork. The copyright/ watermark shown on the front of the product image is not included on the actual painting.
